Being a thoroughbred off the track "Bro" was often difficult to keep weight. At times he was a finicky eater and the type of horse who kept himself fit. For years we attempted to put extra weight on him by feeding huge amounts of hay, beet pulp and corn oil all proving to be unsuccessful and being on the horse show circuit for months at a time proved even more difficult to keep weight on him. On the road he would sometimes not eat and we had difficulty getting him to drink enough water, which was not an ideal situation during a time when you need your horse to be looking and feeling their best.

While at the feed store I picked up a brochure for Equine Power 2000, it had all the attributes Bro needed so I thought "what is the harm in trying?" It is much simpler than feeding additional additives and fillers as all you need is the one scoop. The sweet smell and color of the EquinePOWER product makes it extremely palatable to the horse and easy to feed with grain. Initially my fear in feeding the product is that it would provide too much energy making him high and less rideable, I was wrong.

At no time was he too hot, he just had more energy, spring in his step and felt better under the tack. Another noticeable change was his water consumption. The horse that would drink the top half of his water pails was now going through several gallons a day. EquinePOWER enabled us to keep a bloom on the horse throughout the year, contributed to his great coat condition and numerous wins in the jumper ring. EquinePOWER 2000 is a great product for a difficult keeper or any horse requiring more groceries.
